FDA’s 55-year Process of Data Explained
In today’s very short Medium article I am discussing the overly talked about the 55-year release of data by the FDA, which is rather misconstrued so this article is being made to clear this strawman argument point up and bring up some evidence-based information, not assumptions. Without further ado, let’s get into the article.
➡ Evidence-based Information
In the USA a group of more than 30 professors and scientists from universities including Yale, Harvard, UCLA and Brown, filed suit in September in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, seeking expedited access to the pages. Now the problem with getting access to the pages is the fact that there are 329,000+ pages that the FDA would need to release as per the FOI request, which would take 55+ years to do, so every single day the FDA is releasing 500 pages. Because we have to remember the FDA has to be given time to review and release each and every page, hence why this process would take this amount of time. We also have to think that the FDA cannot simply hand over the pages straight away as they would need to redact confidential business and trade secret information of Pfizer or BioNTech and personal privacy information of patients who participated in clinical trials. This joint status was filed earlier last year. (Source: https://fingfx.thomsonreuters.com/gfx/legaldocs/egvbkaeggpq/vaccine%20foia%20status%20report.pdf)
The problem with this FOI request is that the plaintiffs expect the request to be pushed through straight away as it is not they are saying that information is being hidden, which in reality this is not happening, the FDA have to go through 390,000 pages, look at each and every word on every document and redact information.
Plus after this request the FDA proposes to release 500 pages a month, the branch that handles this request literally has 10 employees and no more, plus the same branch is also dealing with 400 other FOIA requests too. The plaintiffs in this case literally want ALL of the 329,000 pages to be released by 3rd March 2022, which is absolutely impossible. (Source 1: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10222035/FDA-says-need-55-YEARS-make-vaccine-related-information-available-public.html) (Source 2: https://www.bls.gov/bls/blsfoia.htm)
➡ Conclusion
The 55+ years isn’t an excuse, they have to release 329,000 pages of documents which is quite a lot in itself, let alone the branch that deals with requests only has 10 employees on top of dealing with 100s of other requests. The FOI request in itself is adequate but demanding it by the start of March 2022 is absolutely unfair and only serves to add kinder to the ever-growing AV fire camp that assumes everything without any facts. There are no excuses being used here, this is the reality, imagine if you had to personally go through 329,000 and redact important information of each page, that’s also what The Pentagon had to do with UFO Unclassified files as well and no one bated an eyelid here, also a different agenda when it’s the anti-Covid narrative.
